Christmas Cards are Here!! Using Stampin' Up! goodies from the upcoming Autumn/Winter Catty 2015

Hello!
As Slade so aptly put it: It's Christmaaasss! - Card Time, well he kinda put it like that anyway :-) Yes, it's the most wonderful time of the year, or at least the time we crafters want-to/have-to/need-to start planning for Crimbo. I personally love Christmas. I love the family time, I love making and sending gifts, preferably homemade, and of course I adore making Christmas cards. So getting started good and early is key for me (as I'm sure it is with lots of folk!) with working evenings, three kids, my SU! business and my magazine commitments, if I want to make lots of homemade gifts and cards - and I really do!
So, if you too fancy having a go at Christmas cards this year, whether you're new to crafting or an expert then there is sure to be something in the new SU! Autumn/Winter catalogue, coming on the 1st September, for all. Please message me for a FREE copy :-)
I'm going to kick off this sneak peek with a CAS card using some of the delightfully retro papers called "Home For Christmas". I think these are my favourite papers ever!!
This card is a super simple card to make, all you need is a few different sized circle punches, some DSP and thick white card and a few accessories, lets take a look...
This festive die cut word was cut from red glimmer paper and is also new. It comes with 15% off if purchased with the matching stamp set, I have included links (at the end of this post) for the dies separately and as a bundle, for your convenience :-)
I adhered just the ends for a bit of dimension using the new fine tip glue pen.
Ahhh, pom pom trim, swoon. That is all.
Notice I ran a marker pen around the edges of all the punched circles to make them pop a little *Video Tutorial HERE* and added just the present using a dimensional.
I think it kind of looks like the inlaid die cutting I did HERE, you could of course utilize that technique here if you wanted to. In fact I think I will make a quick video for you showing how to do that using punches this week. Watch this space ;-)
Please note: All links fro products are included at the end of this post but you will not be able to add items from the A/W catty to your basket 'till the 1st September, the products from the Annual catty are available now though -:-)
So, I hope you have liked this, my first (of many) Christmas cards?!?!
Thanks so much for stopping by today,
Stampin' hugs,
